Lyrics to Big Boy Waltz, Peppy Carmello version

Does anyone know this one, off the first Lafayette Rhythm Devils CD? Thanks

Re: Lyrics to Big Boy Waltz, Peppy Carmello version

Here's the version by Peppy Carmello :

Oh catin, j’ai roulé, mais toujours,
Chère, pour t’avoir,
J’ai pas vu comment j’va faire.

Oh bébé, moi j’voudrais te dire t’en reviens,
Chère, t’en r’venir
(z)une autre fois avant de mourir.

Oh catin, t’as écouté tous les conseils
Chère, de ta mam,
‘Gardez donc ayou toi t’es.

Marc.

Maybe it's just me..but I absolutely love Peppy Carmello's playing..it's a real nice blend of technique and expression....and a real good blend of old and new style.
Would love to now his musical background and heritage prior to LRD.

Re: Lyrics to Big Boy Waltz, Peppy Carmello version

I agree with you Darryl: he's one of my favorite players and singers, and I know very little about him.

And a GREAT big thanks to you, Marc. I've been wondering about those lyrics for the last year or more.
THANKS!
