VIX at 40!

Sun, as you anticipated, VIX went up to 40! All the time value is so high today, I have seen such high time value caused by volatility. Unluckily, I do not have much extra funds to write more options.

Dear Hanz,

VIX hit 55 yesterday. With this ultra-high volatility, the market is poised for a reversal. But VIX will likely to fluctuate between 30 and 60 for weeks to come.

The unique thing this time, the market did not spike up and formed a bear trap today. It went slowly up, and went sideways. Probably this is what they called the Depression Movement.
