Honestly, in such a diverse town with people of many colors, ethnicities, and religious beliefs (including an active synagogue), I doubt Chief was fired because he happened to be Jewish. I do believe incompetence was a majority factor. And not just his own. Next time we extend our search to external candidates, let us raise the bar a bit higher than State Police Sergeant, shall we? Maybe it's just me, but placing an individual with non-executive experience in a position to lead protective services for 18,000+ Winthropers seems a bit silly.
