I discovered about Victor Mature when my parents happened to be watching "Samson & Delilah"; also "The Robe"

What I remembered was that, Victor Mature had an amazing aura about him on the screen... he captured my attention right away with his athletic built and his melodious speaking voice. The Camera loved his presence and so did I.

I am an actor now & every now and then I think of him, how I wish I could have just a piece of his beauty & charm to captivate a large audience in the amphitheatre at the Acropolis in Athens Greece where I played a tragedian character in a Sophocles play, and a piece of his luck that made Victor Mature a STAR in Hollywood.

I shall remember him always...
