Old friend...you, are sorely missed!

I remember on the evening of my 12th birthday (August 25th 1962), when you stopped by to wish me a "Happy 12th Birthday!"
I will never forget, that event...To see in person, my favorite actor and not only to meet but to actually, spend time together, discussing the film "My Darling Clementine", which by accident had just started, as you, walked into my bedroom! What a coincidence!!!
It was one of those rare moments in a person's life when EVERYTHING...is JUST PERFECT!!!!
George, your body guard, was also, just so nice and polite while you and I just chatted about things. I would have loved, to have, been on your Little League team...but alas, I lived in Del Mar, at the time. So, I had to settle for the Del Mar Mobilgas team, instead!
But on this day...I don't bid you a farewell but just a..."See you next time, at the movies, Vic! YOU'RE THE BEST!" :>)
