This is an appeal for information. I recently inherited from the estate of a private collector, the stop jambs from the no longer extant 1863 Schulze organ of Christ Church Doncaster. I believe that the jambs are unique in that one of them contains a picture of Shulze which was attached at the time of installation. These were purchased by a collector to save them from destruction when the church was re-ordered in the 1980s. I'd like to sell these items and I wonder if anyone can tell me the best place to do so. I am reluctant to offer them for sale on a certain well known auction site. I believe that Shulze scholars have assumed that the jambs have long since been lost. Any scholars and researchers are wlcome to have photographs of them via the internet.
