I agree that the new release adds some nice stuff to the album (Chi mai, The ballad of Hank McCain, ...). I already liked the 10 existing tracks but to a lesser extent.




BTW, the booklet accompanying the new realease is very extensive and enjoyable.

Well, if you haven't heard Zorn's version of Chi Mai, you are missing out. On the other hand, if you haven't heard is versions of EM's disonant stuff, feel blessed. All-in-all, however, I have to say I enjoy most of the new version of the album. It is much cleaner and not so chaotic as the first edition. I'll listen to this album maybe two or three times a year. Just for the fun of it.
