LT Billy J. Smith
I was assigned to 4/39th Infantry 66-67. Wondering if 5/60 is serching for former members as we are. Billy Smith was a Platoon Leader, deploying with 5/60 from Fort Riley. I understand he may have been wounded his first tour. I was informed, from a returned letter via the Adjutant General, that Captain Smith was KIA while serving as an advisor.
