Newton Farm - any info

My Father in Law\'s family lived at Newton Farm - we recently buried his ashes at Westbourn Cemetery in the grave of his father, mother and son.
My wife and I had a look around for Newton farm, but all we could see was a housing estate. I would be grateful for any info, pics etc of Newton Farm to add to our family history story. My father in law was James Hunter Fairly Lang. During the war he was in the Cameronians and was posted in Dalton in Furness where he met his wife to be.
Grateful for any info that I can pass onto his grandchildren (4).

The farm ruins still exist. There is a recent aerial view and a 1933 photo and current location attached in the direct email to you.
