Strange but true. Having been born & bred in North Lanarkshire, I've gradually moved around the edge of the city until I arrived at Drumsagard about 4 years ago. Being a history fiend, and deciding we won't be moving again, I started to do some geneology, and find that some of my ancestors came from Blantyre. I've traced an Andrew Mason born there in 1835, mother Anne? father either William or Andrew? I can't get back any further. I've noticed too that there are a few of my name dotted about the area, and that in the 1700's a 'Mason' was farmer at East Coats. Am I missing a link here, or is it just another co-incidence.
