I was just looking up Cambuslang on Google and found your details.
I lived in Cambuslang from about 1964 untilabout 1986,
me and my elder brother went to St.Brides School.
We lived firstly in Park Street, then Somervell Street, Then Dukes road until we were in our early 20s.
Anyone out there remember us.

I was wondering if you ever got a picture of the tenements on Somervell Street. My mother was born and grew up at 26 Somervell. I think I may have found a picture at www.edwardboyle.com. If you do a search and use Somervell Street tenements, there is one picture. I would attach it for you here, but I don't see where I can. The picture was donated by the wife of a gentleman named Gordon Dinnie.
