My favorite scene is at the end of Deep Six with the Civil War reenactors on the steamboat going to battle in the ocean. I'm not sure it's fully explained why the reenactors have live ammo... but I enjoyed the scene immensely nevertheless.

RE: Cussler Moment...
Mine would be when you are just reading about a Cops and Robbers story in "The Chase" and The San-Francisco EARTHquake of 1906 suddenly, like, "Happens"... It was Massive Moment in my Cussler reading Saga?!.. Truly Memorable!
here we go, a great NON Negative post for us to read. To me, one of my all time favorite moments is when Dirk goes back to Cuba to get Foss Guy and he brings the baseball bat. i can feel the rage in both combats as they get it on. it's classic! And in a non Dirk moment, I really liked the scene in Night Probe where Foss gets it on with the Henry Villon mistress/Prime Ministers wife and she doesn't know it him. Even better, is when the Canadian Prime Minister takes care of the cheating wife and Henry Villon by burying them together in the car. Good stuff there!

EVERY time Clive inserts himself into the novels and the characters have a feeling that they've met or have seen him before, but can't quite recall who he is!
