I, too, agree that they are on their last legs. With budgetary cuts everywhere we might as well give up the concept of improvement, especially with shows like GH. Most likely many of the money sucking "dinosaurs" that we know and love will be eliminated, as well as the good writings. in favor of a cheaper model until that eventual ends with cheap talk show or news show replacements.
