Hi Jenn!!


I'm Cheryl from Appomattox, VA. (just east of Lynchburg. I am the mother to a son 16 months old and will be trying to become pregnant this summer. I am still breastfeeding and, unfortunately, had to go back to work when he was 6 months old. I'm a teacher, so at least I have long breaks with him. The guilt was unbearable, but we just couldn't see any other way. Don't get me started. Anyway, I have a sister attending UVA, so maybe we could email and possibly visit at some point. My husband and I also family bed. I'm still learning about some of the other "radical" parenting methods, but have found that most of what is discussed on the forum makes sense and seems very natural to me. I only wish there were people in my neck of the woods who shared these thoughts.

Hello to all! I'm a stay at home mom of 3 BEAUTIFUL grrls...one who will be 6 TOMORROW, a 17 mo. old, and a 3 mo. old. I would love to meet anyone from the valley, but I'm NOT discriminating!! *G* Anyone who would like to discuss such issues as breastfeeding, attachment parenting, family beds, birth experiences, etc...PLEASE post! I can talk about ANYTHING! Also, am interested in moms who've been home and nursing, and are going (or have gone) back to work...I think I will be going back to work soon, and I do have concerns, and a LOT of GUILT! =) Would love to hear from anyone!
