I dug out a copy of Robert C. Jones' book "Two Feet to the Lakes" (a book about the Bridgton & Sacor River Railroad) and find a flatcar roster on page 222 and 223 that was prepared by Bob Werner. The no. 23 is listed as having been built by the Portland Co. in 1899. (The Portland Co. works is the site of todays Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company & Museum in Portland, Maine).

I would say that the W.W. & F. Ry. Museum has itself a true gem of a flatcar!
