Re: The Tapes

Hi Steve,
Scroll down the page and read the post "Stebbins and Boyd talk about Summer Love Songs" for more info on the tapes. And...Fallin'In Love was the orig. working title for Lady

Re: The Tapes

Thanks for your reply, Jon. Yes, I saw and read that and it just left me wondering more about it. Like, who was this person, how'd the get the tapes, etc? It's such an amazing story I wish it could be told more. That said, I would imagine there are reasons not to say too much about it.
Is Falling in Love going to be reworked in any way? It's great that all this Dennis stuff is coming out truly. I just wish it was all in one place, as opposed to being scattered throughout various compilations. Beggars can't be choosers, though. steve t.

Re: The Tapes

Hi Steve,
I'm writing an in depth story about the recovery of the tapes(with photos), as well as the story about the guy who had them. I'll post an update here once the story is ready and has a home. Fallin' In Love has a new intro and a new mix, really great if you ask me. I agree with you about not liking the scattering of DW's stuff as opposed to it being in one place and in context, but this release will give him more attention. And he's been getting a lot of that lately which is a great thing.

Re: The Tapes

The new mix of "Fallin' In Love" is ... well, ASTONISHING ! I love it ... congrats to all involved and here's waiting for more in the future (after we finish our 'book project' of course, Jon !!)
