jim guercio in the early 1980s

when dennis was going downhill in the 1980s what was his relationship with jimmy guercio like.Did they keep in touch, did he try to get help for dw.Anyone have any insite to this? Also, with the positive publicity and impressive record sales of the reissue how does it look for guercio to release any other material by DW

Re: jim guercio in the early 1980s

Jim Guercio would like to release more DW product, he was extremely pleased with the reaction to the POB Legacy edition. Regarding Jimmy in the '80's. Just prior to Dennis' death he was meeting with Audree and Carl to discuss becoming Dennis legal conservator or guardian as part of a strategy to straighten Dennis out. Unfortunately Dennis drowned before any action was taken.
