Went to see Brian in Philly thursday. I've been a major fan for over 35 years. Seeing Brian or Beach Boy shows over 300 times. But I was disheartend at seeing Brian condition. I felt sorry that his management puts him onstage he looked disinterested and in terrible shape. I for one love the man who gave me a lifetime of happieness over the decades. I hope he continues to record but I hope he is not forced to tour anymore. Certainly he doesn't need the money and I was absolutely horrified seeing his condition.

Interesting...someone on the Smiley board posted about how happy & engaged Brian looked, compared to other times they'd seen him. Funny how different people can see the same thing differently!

As I listen to the tape of the show right now, he seems pretty upbeat/on top of it throughout. I'm guessing by "Philly" you're referring to the Glenside show. Sounds pretty good (considering).

I saw him in Milwaukee on 10/24 which was his 3rd show out on this recent tour. I must say this is the best I've seen him since the Pet Sounds tour!!! He was singing, talking, and actually playing the keyboard. From the reviews from my FB friends regarding the different concerts, it seemed that he got happier with every show. I for one, am glad that the G.H. tour went this well. Maybe he has Gershwin on his mind and that made him perform so well, I don't know. I saw him in South Bend and Chicago last November, and was very disappointed in the S.B. show as far as Brian's mood, but Chicago he was much better. As I said tho, Milwaukee was great!!!
