Question about Dennis in 83

I'm really not how to ask this or if I should, but I've read articles about the way Dennis looked towards the end, people saying they didn't recognize him or he was green and bloated. I've never seen a picture of him where he looked that bad. I think the last pictures I've seen, have been the 4th of July concert in 83. Not his best ,but still looking okay. Better than a lot of 39 year olds. For those who knew him ,was he that bad, that he was unrecognizable? Thanks ,Kirt
PS: I'm not asking for pictures, just someone who knew him or saw him that might know.

Re: Question about Dennis in 83

I agree with you - I don't think he ever looked as bad as some made out. He certainly wasn't very overweight that's for sure
