Anyone here know whatever became of Denny's last girlfriend, "Crystal?"

The only pic I've seen of her is in a 1984 Rolling Stone mag chronicling Denny's final days. . . and her face is quite obscured by large sunglasses.

I guess she's basically the "Ginger Alden" of Denny's life, and I've never heard much mention of her on these boards or beyond.

Anyone know?

She, along with Bill Oster, (whom I've met and spoke with back in '94) and his fiancee, Brenda Clugston was WITH Dennis the last 2 or so days before he died as well as WHEN he died.

Dennis was quoted by Bill on one of those final days that he and Colleen were only going together for "a couple weeks."

I'm here. Never forgot Dennis. No, it wasn't two weeks. We lived together the last six months of his life. Were friends for 2 1/2 years. God Bless Dennis. Love you always!

Hi...it'd be nice to get some insight into those last few months. Maybe you could write about it?

I was bombarded with requests to write a trash book after he died. Wouldn't do that for any amount of money. I still remember it all, though, like it was yesterday. Dennis and I were living together in Culver City with his son Gage. He was going through a lot of change...trying to get his life back on track. It's so, so unfortunate what happened. Just a bad twist of fate when he had so much to live for.

Colleen how old were you when you were with Dennis? Was he really trying to give up the drugs?
