NOTE: On June 18th, 2008, Sony BMG/ Legacy Recordings released the long awaited reissue of Dennis Wilson's masterwork, the acclaimed 1977 solo album Pacific Ocean Blue. Aside from a brief CD release in 1992, this is the first time this album has been widely available to the public since it's first appearance. Included in this release is a second disc packed with previously unreleased material from sessions leading up to a second solo album, tentatively titled BAMBU.

Hi,
Thanks for asking. Sorry to say that too many other projects continue to eat up my time and the Real Beach Boy book needs more of my attention before it will be ready. Right now I'm finishing up The Beach Boys FAQ book for Backbeat Books, which is a 400 plus page reference volume on the entire history of the group. It is due to hit the stores later this year. Of course in 2010 we completed Dennis Wilson - The Real Beach Boy documentary film for BBC television. It was recently nominated for a Royal Television Society Award (Best Documentary - Northern Region). Once my plate clears a little more I'll be finishing work on the expanded and revised Real Beach Boy book, and hopefully you'll still be interested upon its release.

Beach Boys FAQ book? Thats great! I'll be interested in purchasing that book as well.
Is there anyway I can get on a mailing list to be notified when both those books are published?
