I adopted a MWD dog named Buck in the summer of 2010 from Lackland. I can give his tatoo number if needed, but I love this dog and really would like to know more about his past. I retired from the Army last year but was never a handler. Buck was in Iraq at the same time of my last tour in 2005. I believe he has some PTSD which has gotten lots better with some tender loving care. I do know that he was a bomb detection dog. I look into his eyes and wonder what he sacrificed for other humans in uniform every day! All I recieved from Lackland was his medical records and one hell of a great dog! He is 7 years old now.
