Hi, I am writing to see if I can find out any details or where to find information relating to a true US 'dog' tag that I found in what was once Camp Cable near Brisbane Australia. Camp Cable was the base for the US 32nd Infantry Division (Red Arrows) but has also had US Marines stationed there at times during WW2.

I found the Dogtag while metal detecting and the tag has the following information verbatim and I am hoping that 7X011 was the dog's number in the records:
U S 7X011
Property of US Army
Base Sec 2
Ross River Kennels

Appreciate any information on this dog or kennels or where to look further.
