URGENT: What will happen to our dogs now that we're leaving Iraq?

Does anyone know? Will they be exterminated as was done with the Viet Nam and other wars?

If that's the plan-I'd like to help get them back to the US and adopted.

The Military Working Dogs will leave Iraq with their handlers and go back to their home bases. The dogs are not left behind as they were in Vietnam. Today there is a retirement and adoption program for these wonderful K9's.
