ALOHA! hi Lea and Danny!
i heard that Danny was here but on Maui at the shopping center!i was gonna go for that weekend but my boss did not grant me my request off for that weekend. so,my daughter that was there,i told her that she needs to go to the mall and watch Danny sing.while i was at work she called me and i got to listen to him sing on the cell phone.and she was nice enough to get me cd's and a picture.
Lea, please let me know when the next time your in Hawaii again....thank you and god bless the both of you. P.S. im so mad at my BOSS!!!!

We lived in Hawaii during the late sixties and through out the seventies. The Homegrown albums were made then. I was told that Danny had something to do with those albums and I'm wondering if you or he can tell me if they are available for purchase and where? Mahalo....... and thanks for a great site

Homegrown albums may only be available periodically thru places like Ebay at this time. Mahalo~ Lea

Just cruised into your site and spent a long time finding out about Mr Couch and his career I'm very impressed with the work you did. Have been a fan since the Aliis days. Danny you are still Da man.

Mahalo, yes it was/is a bit of work but doing the research and finding out tidbits from Da Man make it all worth while. I also learn a lot as it goes along.

Hi Lea,
We celebrated our 45th anniversary at the Hale Koa Room and after we finished we ran into Danny we stopped to say hi to Danny and he said to tell you hi. We read where he is nominated for one of the Hoku awards coming up soon.
He knows where to go an get a good meal. The px has all of Danny's cd's and the hotel is pushing his replacements cd's as well at the logo counter. A lot of construction is underway. They are tearing down a lot of stuff on Lewers Street but I was talking to one of the contractors and they are saving and restoring some of the buildings too especially ones that are on Beachwalk which is the street just west of Lewers. The theater is gone but I don't know if the International Market is one of the targets or not. Anxious to see how things look when we go again in December.

Aloha Danny! aloha, Danny! I have a cassette? tape (not a VCR), of i Love Hawaii when I went to Hilo Hattie's and looked to see if they had any there. I loved the song "I Love Hawaii". That is a really awesome song!!
I will be going to Oahu this coming May. In fact, next Wednesday I will leave here (Michigan), and be flying to Oahu. This will be my 5th visit to Oahu.
I just love the people and the island. Just feeling the tradewinds, and the whispering of the waves against the shore of Waikiki!!

Aloha, I want to tell you I have every one of Danny's cassettes then when he went to CD's I have them too including his new one as I bought it when I was in Hawaii. As a matter of fact I bought two as my daughter is a fan of his.
