Met them both a few times when I was working as a theatre electrician. I have fond memories of those times and I have been a lifelong fan and since my wife died, playing the (especially radio) programs brings back the times when we would listen together. I obtained the radios shows from you some years ago, bless you for that Paul and thanks for your continued work keeping it all alive.

I was a saxophone player in the Ambassadors Dance Band in the Stafford area during the 1960s. Terry Fyffe, Patrick's brother, was a trumpet player in the band. The Ambassadors Band formed the core of the pit orchestra at the Stychfields (Stafford GEC) Theatre for a number of years during their annual one week pantomime production. Patrick Fyffe always played a female role as a dame or ugly sister. It was quite obvious that Patrick was a superb talent and apart from the shows themselves every rehearsal was a brilliant performance. It was no surprise to see him on TV and famous in later years. I think about him whenever I drive up the M6 past Acton Trussell near Stafford. I have always assumed Stackton Tressel was named after the village near Patrick's birthplace. A true professional, sadly missed.

The LGMC Christmas Show this year is sold out at Cadogan Hall Sloane Sq, London - three performances over 2000 people and two of us are doing an audience participation number in the 2nd half between song and dressing up similar to Hinge and Bracket - the Tiddly Pom song would be ideal

I've been a lifelong fan, but saw them for the first time in Swindon's theatre in 1978. Truly entertainment at it's best.

- don't really know what i commenting on! Love Hinge & Bracket. Just got all the DVD's. Bought a very inexpensive machine that plays PAL. Love the double "gala" evenings DVD's. One thing i've noticed, while watching- you can't tell (especially at the hairlines) that it's "drag". They were "amazing". ~ The main thing for me is- they're both sooo musical.
