Visit MidPoint Cafe in August 2011 and the whole place made an impact on my family and me. Had a burger, forgot to try the pie, this means we have to come back! Yeaaa! My wife and I were there in August, 2012 for breakfast - she had pie and I had eggs with vadalia onion and peach hot sauce - bought a bottle and brought it home and now that we\'re almost out, we want more! Sad to find out you don\'t ship your hot sauce to Canada. If you find a way to do so, please let us know!

We were married in June of 2010. So for our honeymoon we traveled the entire Route 66 from Chicago all the way to the Santa Monica Pier on a 2007 Harley-Davidson. The MidPoint Cafe was a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Was to early for a burger so we had breakfast and a slice of pie. Both were delicious and definitely worth the stop. My wife enjoyed the Vidalia Peach hot sauce on her scrambled eggs so much we bought a bottle to go. The hospitality was great. We are looking forward to doing this trip again with our new son so we can meet the new owners Dennis & Donna. If you ever in the area make sure and stop there.

We were there this Spring traveling Route 66. Had the best hamburger on the trip, a piece of the ugly crust pie, and the new owner took our picture in front of the sign. If ever in Texas again, I will be back.

A friend and I stopped in last October 2011. We were traveling cross country and by chance came across your cafe. Found we had also come to the midpoint rt. 66. Made our day. The cafe had just closed. However we were still invited in for a piece of take out pie and look around. Thanks for your cheery friendliness. One of the memories I like best from the trip. Sure wish I could get a piece of that coconut cream pie!! Was the best.
