Hey Jim,
How about a Wildcat reunion tour? Funny, I lived in So-Cal for 20 years, and visited the Mother Lode country many times (I loved Downieville). I know that my brother has been in contact with you, and provided "Norwegian Wood." We were pretty good for 15 year olds. Contact me man. Glas to see you've done well.

AND that word would be ..... Woh !! or maybe you spelled it Whoa or maybe it was spelled Woe?? I don't remember how it was spelled but i remember the Book of WOH.. I can still hear you making me laugh with that one simple word said with many inflections of your voice.................. I know I didn't dream it.... OR did I?? LOL... Remember the Beach Estates? How bout Albie and Annette Mannino?? We loved finding you on Google... What a walk down memory lane.. Bravo..

The Laughing Dogs were one of my favorite bands during the CBGB era. There was nothing like a 'Dogs/Shirts gig to make life good. Met Jimmy Arcardi (sp?) at a party once, we both got drunk and played air guitar together to Steely Dan's 'Haitian Divorce'. Regular guys. Shatload of talent. Glad they're still around.
Their second album was ruined by Columbia - you could just hear some record exec (aren't they all morons?) saying "it needs more sap, boys". 'When Socks Turned To Shoes' could've been a million seller.

the laughing dogs were the first band i ever saw live.i was 10 yrs.old they opened up & backed
micky dolenz&davy jones of the monkees (after tommy boyce&bobby hart droped out of the tour, anyway, a couple years later when they released their 1st columbia lp i remembered them and bought the album and it became one of my favorite albums of all time (and still is) from begining to end this lp is a knockout with great hooks great vocals great guitar playing & some great drumming ---i taught myself to play bass by listening to and playing along with this lp over & over ----i cant understand how the **** these 2 columbia lp's aren't re-released in cd format remixed ,remastered and sounding even better, always thought rhino records would be all over this task espesially with the connection to the monkees ,anyway ill have to settle for the mint demo copy i found (with white columbia lable) this is one of my dessert island discs (remember that one from wnew 102.7?????)

Thanks to Jimmy Accardi for his radio show and the 16 CD set he sent for my donation sometime ago. I am 65 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, so listening to Jimmy takes me right back there to the days of such DJs as "Mad Daddy."
