John Prine Shrine wonders
Don't you wonder sometimes about other folks reasons for Prine things?
The main reason I am a John Prine fan
I was raised on him since birth
His lyrics inspire me to do something good.
His lyrics create incredible emotions in me.
I love the sound of his voice.
I've been in love with that man since the first time I saw and/or heard him.
Someday I will bear his children.
I don't really know, his songs are just a part of my life...like breathing.
I would be dead if it weren't for some of his songs dragging me out of the gutter.
All of the above.
All of the above, except I really can't bear his children.
The most I have traveled to hear John in concert is

I have never seen John Prine live in concert, or anywhere.

Whad did you think of the movie "Daddy And Them"?
Loved it. It's done in such a Billy Bob Thornton style. John was a hero - Loved the liquor scene. He made the movie great! I watched it intently all the way through, just to hear Iris and John sing "In Spite of Ourselves"
Not sure. I got kind of confused following it. Lots of great names in the movie, but it was hard to follow.
Let's put it this way, it wasn't my favorite...but I didn't hate it. Some parts were fuzzy for me.
Hated it. Who wants to watch a redneck hillbilly movie... I just don't like Billly Bob Thornton movies.
Sigh, I haven't seen it yet.
