I hope this gets expanded. I'm sure that there are plenty of folks like me who grew up in Louisiana, but were discouraged from learning the french spoken by our elders.
If you decide to update your schooling in French, just watch it where you take them courses; "French Lessons" advertised in a London paper is quite a different thing, especially when given in the Soho area ...

Ha ha, we use that little trick on our kids too. My parents couldn't, because French was my first language and I basically learned English before they did.
No worries Brian. I've been wanting to get back into this music for a long time. It's coming along pretty well since I have a lot of time to practice - but it would just be really nice to have someone with whom to practice on occasion.
