Accordion tabs

Does anyone have any tabs they could possibly email me? I’ve only got the ones from Larry Millers book. It could be for any songs, really doesn’t matter at this point. Just trying to increase my unrefined skill set :) I need to get it harnessed and headed in the right direction.

Re: Accordion tabs

Look at link #2.
I put some tabs on internet and maybe you can use it :-)
Go with your mouse to Cajun Accordion and you see three choices.
1. Introduction
2. TEFview
3. Downloadsongs
I hope that works for you.

I know that not everybody here like the use of TABS, but it helps me a lot.
I use it because of my old memory
I also use the tabs of Allie Young which were included with a LP he made in the past :-)
It's just a way to know what butttons and bellowdirection you have to do.
To play Cajun music in the way it is played by i.e. the old or new masters, you need to listen as much as possible to the original recordings.

Re: Accordion tabs

I see them, Thanks! I’m going to start working on them.

Re: Accordion tabs

That's great Marc and thanks for it.
I know the book and the website, but never saw the Tabledit option.
I made about 30 TEF-files and put them on the Freetabs-website.
Do you come to Saint-Sernin du bois next week ?

Re: Accordion tabs

Saw the two songs he has up. Any idea what the P and T mean?

Re: Accordion tabs

Nevermind the french word for pull is tirer!

Re: Accordion tabs

In Louisiana, a lot of people say "haler (dessus) l'accordéon" instead of "tirer"

Re: Accordion tabs

In French, P=push and T=pull

Marc

Re: Accordion tabs

Yes Ron, I’ll come to St Sernin

Marc.

Re: Accordion tabs

Great Marc, see you there :-)

Re: Accordion tabs
