Ok here is my take on it. Are you adapting this for an accordion? I'd like to hear it!
Early in the morning I can see the sun coming' up outta Gator Bayou
I've been out all getting (?) all night and I can't be worried about you
I'm a good time hard lovin' Cajun man
I live in the Bayou, been my home ever since in can remember
I was born in that three room shack on a cold day in December
I'm a good time hard lovin' Cajun Man
Working on a boat rowing through the swamp for a dollar and a half an hour
Cajun man with a love a love and a whole lot of muscle power
I'm a good time.....
Drinkin' ever since I was tall enough to put my money up on the counter
I always looked tor that one girl in life, but it seems like I never found her
I'm a good time...
Saturday night you can find me downtown playin' Bouree in Beano's Lounge
Sunday morning I go to church and pray the lord don't strike me down
I'm a good time... x3
Thanks for your efforts and it made more sense now.
I asked it for somebody I know and first I did a try myself.
He's playing accordion and I don't know if he wanted to play it on accordion.
I like the song , but I never would start playing it because it's not really
my cup of tea as a member of the "black socks cajun departement"
Ooops , I have to explain that
We have here , just like in the USA, a lot of protestant churches and the most
straight protestants are called here the "black socks church"
By the way: I also love all side effects of C&Z-music, but the old traditional style is my favourite.
