Re: Grand Marais Two-Step

It's dorky but I am going to be in Grand Marais until Monday and thought it would be fun to play/sing while I am there

Re: Grand Marais Two-Step

Any help?

Re: Grand Marais Two-Step

Here is what I hear. Like I said the other day, he repeats something before "Grand Marais" that I can't make out. It could be an adjectif meaning "nice, pretty". So... "Alle est si _____... de Grand Marais." (I hear "flav" or "slahb") But I also hear... "Aller c'ez ... de Grand Marais" So it could be somebodys name. (The girls name). That would make sense with the last part. Anyways here is how I wrote it out.

She is that flower with the striped dress
she is that flower of Grand Marais.

Just replace "flav" in the above post to "fleur" each time.

Pardon my French

That's it. It makes sense! Just one thing (for the perfectionists among us)
it's not: c'est fleur, but "cette fleur"

Re: Grand Marais Two-Step

Thank you both so much!

Grand Marais Two-Step - the definitive version?

I am definitely to be included in the group of perfectionists.

OK, so how about this. I have pulled together all the comments in this thread into what may be the definitive version.

What do you all think?
