I beleive that if a PS is awarded while a team is on the PP, it counts as a PP goal. Also, the original player does not come out of the box, because the goal is treated as if it was scored during a delayed 2nd penalty. Applying that logic, I believe Nitro is correct.

I asked Nitpicker after the game and he said that the penalty shot goal is considered shorthanded.
