Re: Amede Ardoin's Sunset - lyrics request

Excellent. Ardoin is very tough. My attempt is similar as well.

His lines here are very confusing:
"ça m'fait d'la peine, mes parents
J'sais pas c'eyou j'peux aller"

I hear:
"le relate pas à mes parents,
Pleure pas fille, où j'peux aller"

Been struggling with this verse for quite some time now.

---------------------
On your line below:
"donne-moi ton adresse"

I hear something similar to:
"de mon deux négresse"

The "deux" or something similar, is spoken here. I don't hear "ton". But your phrasing makes more sense, given the context of the song.

----------------------
After "à ta maison", I hear:
"Et ta mom et ton papa, veux pas de moi, j'vas ce soir."

----------------------
On the line "dis maman pourquoi tu t'charres….. pour moi", I hear:
"des mots mal faut pas dire ça, priez pour moi"

Many lines can be heard different ways.
Merci Marc. Thanks for the input. I like to compare my notes with others. Always open for advice and suggestions from knowledgeable people.
