Thanks for all the info. Looks like if I want to see that video in its entirity will have to buy it. Can't get a direct stream of the whole thing, but the clips and links ya'll provided were very helpful.

Very little makes me homesick like that Alan Lomax video does. He does take some liberties with his own conclusions, but the footage is priceless. Outsiders saw way before we did the value of recording what we all took for granted. Though I have most documentaries on cajun culture, this is my favorite, even got a greatgrandfather and ex-girlfriend on it.
