Glenn, ya rock! Thanks for the details. Karlos IS a great guy to deal with too -- from what I've heard. Luckily he's right here in the DFW area. Now just to convince the wife that I need a Caddie rather than a Toyota (Gab). 'Course anything would be a step up from my Castiglione. It's been useful to learn on but it's not real robust in quality or sound. Need those bassoon reeds and switches to make it right.
Yeah? That buy-out could be an option. Still gonna be later this year -- so I'll definitely check back wit'cha. Sean Ardoin is total legend in my book!
Hi Rick,
I bought a 5 switch Gabbanelli "Tex Mex" 3 reed from Larry Miller and I like it alot. I don't like the name "tex mex" on the face plate, but great otherwise. Light and good sound. The way I hear it...Elio Gabbanelli makes it but can't put the name "Gabbanelli" on it because of legal issues. So hence, Tex Mex...
It's all black with lots of jewels. Installed an internal mike, of course.

I was wondering about those... Corey Young of the Zydeco Teenagers plays one. Yeah, dunno if I could play something that constantly reminded me tacos and enchiladas. I'd be hungry evertime I picked it up. But it sure sounds good!
