I am not sure of the spelling of Ayam Penyek but what I meant to say is the smashed chicken. Don't really know how the chicken was being smashed though. Guess when most things are being smashed it should be nice to be eaten - not much chewing required.

However when a pair of smashed lips are never nice cos they can't do many tricks!

About the ayam penyet ( is this the right spelling) ........ we did have it when we went to Batam a month ago and the sambal that goes with it is heavenly . You should try the mee bakso there.........oh man ! totally different from what we have here . Maybe I try it again if I decide to go next week.
