Your website popped into my head recently, and I wondered if you had \"made it\" or not. My son, also named Randy, was battling ALL the same time you were. He used to read your website for inspiration quite often. He battled for three years, and finally received a bone marrow transplant, but a tiny cell in his brain didn\'t get killed, and it grew back just as Randy was reaching his 100-day mark. He battled for all he was worth, mostly because he had a son also, and he only wanted to live for him. He will have been gone 6 years this coming May. He would have been 50 this year.

I\'m so happy that you were able to survive all your challenges. Randy used to speak of you often, that\'s why I remembered your website. God bless you and your loving family.

I am a former BMT patient of Dr. Mangan's, I was googling his name and your site popped up. I hope all is well with you....Dr. Mangan is an excellent doctor and I recieved the best care at Temple U. I was able to conquer Aplastic Anemia and 2 hip replacements (due to BMT) I was diagnosed in '91 and had my transplant in '93....I am now 40 years old and 15 years later I have a family and no health problems.
