I remember my sister speaking of Victor Mature when she worked at the Fish Market in the Hay Market days (in Louisville, Kentucky). She said his father had a cart that he would go thru the street with selling items. Victor Mature was a small boy and would be with his Dad. I\'ve always thought he was beautiful and sad that he left us. |

BACK DURING THE CECIL B DAYS...ACTORS WERE COMING OUT OF THE 'TALKIES'.. I'm looking for a rare Victor Mature movie my uncle stared in. called BAPTISM BY FIRE. My uncle was 20 and in the millitary when he was chosen to be in this film with victor. I have never seen the movie or heard of it until recently he mentioned it and showed the news paper clipping . Any info at to where I could find this movie is greatly appreciated. With all the ...ahem...CR@P (cgi, 3D)and the like that is being churned out today, My wife and I can sit back & go back in time...so to speak and watch "Victor Mature" movies, commercial free on TCM(Turner Classic Movies) and FMC(Fox Movie Channel). Truly Fantastic !! |
