Informative website. Have found the location of the grave of my Great Great Grandparents (David Davies and Catherine Roberts) and some of their children ( my great great aunts - Grace Elizabeth, Angharad, Laura and Winifred). Planning a visit to the cemetery in June and the map showing the grave location is very useful. |

Grant Gardens was brought to my attention by an Instagram poster @thewayiseelpool. I never knew of this cemetery as it was nor it\'s history and how it is now. Memorial headstones removed to allow landscaping. Such a sad story. |

It been a couple of years since I’ve been on Ancestry.uk searching for my family history. I’ve had some info on my grandfather on the Mainey side in the form of his army record. For some reason he chose to serve for the Imperial Australian Amed Force even though he cam from Liverpool. Today I found that his Father was buried at the Toxteth Cemetery along with others from the same address. I’m wondering if my family still exists as I was lead to believe I was the last in the Mainey family. |

Great to see my ancestor listed here. He was Edward Jones, a 30 year old Mersey Pilot who died from cholera in 1861. He piloted a vessel from Egypt that was infested with disease, contracted it and died shortly after leaving a widow and 2 small children, one of which was Edward, my great grandfather. Thank you for your website |

My family lived in and around the Toxteth area, I was born in Sefton General. The website has helped me find the graves of my uncle and aunt who died aged five and three of diphtheria in 1920. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit. |

Huge Thank You to everyone involved in providing this incredibly valuable website. The effort to update it must have been monumental. Previously it took me almost hours to work through the lists. Now so quick and easy. Many of my family have been buried here and ironically I didn\'t know this when I worked in the old hospital building which overlooked the cemetery. But it means that I have a mind map of roughly where the grave sections are. I was wondering if photographs of the general views would be comforting to those researchers from far away? Probably a big ask but maybe a future possibility. Once again my deepest thank you to all of you involved. |

What a wonderfully clear and concise list! I have checked the details I have for quite a few of my hubby\'s ancestors. Brilliant! Why do all the cemeteries not have a website like this? Rhetorical, of course. |

Thanks for the update of this website. It certainly helped me in my search for my Liverpool relatives and when I travelled to Liverpool four years ago, the details from this website helped me locate their graves. Now off to search for more of the rels. |
