This came up a while back, and I think there were a lot of questions. Tom Tonin is the inventor of this feature on the accordion. I had the accordion in my possession in '98 for about a month with hopes of recording with it, but was never satisfied with the outcome....
I've have two nice instruments up for grabs. The first is an Acadian that dates to the mid 80's, it's in the key of C, and has Salpa #1 reeds, some of the best reeds every built. It's in the key of C, dry tuned, and has one of the brightest sounds I've ever encounter...

Is it me or do reeds sound much better in somewhat colder temperatures (nothing below 65 degrees mind you!)
When I play my accordions in air conditioning they seem to sound much better than in the same room with very warm temperatures.

I own a MARTIN key of C box, with over 50 hours of playing time. Is this really necessary?

I think that in a waltz the stamp is on 1 and 3.
